Varicella (chicken pox) is an acute, highly infectious disease.
PLEASE NOTE : There must be at least a four week gap between MMR and VARICELLA vaccine.
Live vaccine from 12 months of age.
The vaccine protects against varicella zoster, the virus that causes chicken pox.
Course of 2 doses of 0.5ml injections, 4-8 weeks a part.
